Quarter final review.
8 teams went into the weekend full of hope and only 4 remain as the results of the quarter final are in.
We start with the number 1 seed Dermy (Taco Corp) going up against 8th seed Stocks and Murf (The 5 Yard Rush Podcast). This was the 3rd Matchup between the two teams and Taco Corp got the Hat trick. They scored the highest score of the quarter finals and progress into the next round. The 5 yard rush boys Championship run is over and now head to the positional matchups.
The 2nd seed and highest scoring team of the season Martin (Lucky Fantasy Guy) faced Matt (Brady-o-GaGa). Brady-o-GaGa had a bad run into the playoffs after losing 4 games. They snapped that streak this week at the best possible time and move into the semi finals and end LFGs hopes.
Dave (The Jazz Purists) had the 3rd seed and Faced Tyler (Long Live ’76). The Jazz Purists made it 2 out of 2 against LL ’76 after a quarter final win. They head into the semi final and knock LL’76 into the positional rounds.
The final quarter final game saw 4th seed Jacob (Team JBarner) go head to head against Ethan (ETurnerFF). ETurnerFF got their own back with a big win after losing to JBarner in the regular season. 5th seed ETurnerFF head into the next round and drop JBarner into the positional rounds.
Down at the bottom fighting for the toilet bowl we had Jamie (NorthWealdPats) going up against Pittsy (Pitts Burk Stinkers). NWP lost in the regular season but got one back and got the win against the Stinkers this weekend. The Stinkers head into the toilet bowl final.
In the final matchup also fighting for the toilet bowl, Shaun (Team Spedding) went up against last place Rich (Pats20Chad). In a very low scoring game, Spedding scraped a win and put Pats20Chad, who scored the lowest score of the season, into the Toilet bowl.
