Week 13 preview.

Here we go, it all boils down to 1 gameweek. We have 3 matchups deciding 1 regular season championship (between 2 teams) and 1 playoff spot (between 4 teams).

We start this week with those 3 games that all connect.

1st place Dermy (Taco Corp) needs a win to claim the regular season championship or for 2nd place to lose. Taco Corp go up against 11th place Jamie (NorthWealdPats). NWP are still in the running for the final playoff spot so need to win to have an outside chance of making it to the postseason. They will be keeping an eye on the two other games.

2nd place Martin (Lucky Fantasy Guy) needs NWP to get the win and then they will also need to beat 8th place Stocks and Murf (The 5 Yard Rush Podcast) then hope the maths and head to heads work out in their favour to win the regular season crown. A win for The 5 Yard Rush boys will clinch the final playoff spot as they sit in 8th. They have to win here as a loss will knock them out of contention for the last playoff spot.

This is down to the final of the 3 blockbuster games. This game is 9th Vs 10th. It doesn’t seem blockbuster but its Shaun (Team Spedding) against Pittsy (Pitts Burk Stinkers). Both teams are level with the 5 Yard Rush boys who sit In the final playoff spot. No matter who wins this game, they would put pressure on the 5 Yard Rush team to get the W. If they don’t win then Spedding or the Stinkers will get the final playoff spot as long as NWP also loses. If NWP wins then it will go down to head to head or a points tally to decide final placings.

The final matchups are for pride and seedings.

3rd place Dave (The Jazz Purists) go head to head with 4th place Jacob (Team JBarner). These two teams both sit at 8-4 for the season which means whoever wins will secure the 3rs seed.

5th place Ethan (ETurnerFF) goes up against 6th place Tyler (Long Live ’76). Even though ETurnerFF is a game ahead a win for LL’76 would put them equal with ETurnerFF but would then get the head to head to take the 5th seed. ETurnerFF getting the win will put them level with the loser of 3rd place game. Due to points or head to heads that could mean 4th or 5th place.

The final game is last place Rich (Pats20Chad) going up against 7th place Matt (Brady-o-GaGa). Pats20Chad can’t move off bottom spot but will want to finish the regular season with a win. Brady-o-GaGa will also be looking for a win to see if they can move up the standings if the games go their way.

1 final game to go and a lot still to be played for. We wait for Tuesday’s madness to work it all out. Until then, Keep rushing
