College Football Week 12 – Keshs College Fund
Week 11 is complete and another amazing week. Keshy6 continued his winning streak as he went 8-4 in his picks last week. Anything above 55% is a good week so let’s get straight into it and find our best picks for the College Football Week 12 Slate.
Kesh looks ahead to this week’s college football slate, sprinkling a bit of Vegas in there and giving his predictions on each game from the Top 25.
Please note, all the lines are courtesy of SkyBet at the time of writing. Lines are subject to change.
Tulane @ Tulsa (-7)
Thursday night game to keep you entertained whilst the Cardinals take on the Seahawks. I believe this one is going to be closer than Vegas anticipates and will go with the hot streak of the underdog, Tulane +7.
UCLA @ Oregon (-13)
Both UCLA and Oregon are scoring points for fun this year. I love this matchup but not sure when the start time will be. Skybet says 5 pm GMT, William Hill has it at 3:30 am, Google has it at 8 pm and ESPN is TBD. Unfortunately when handicapping these factors matter – as it’s between an early 9 am kick off on the west coast or a late evening start with a full day to prepare. Keep an eye on my Twitter feed for updates and which way my picks will go.
Indiana @ Ohio State (-21)
Ohio State means business this year and is taking the Big 10 by storm. With the extra week of rest to prepare for this matchup at home, prepare for a massacre. Ohio State -21.
Clemson (-29.5) @ Florida State
This line is moving and is moving fast. Don’t be surprised if it’s -33 or more by the time you read this. Florida State is embarrassing and Clemson star QB is back, Lawrence is going to make up for lost time missing the previous 2 games so he will be firing on all cylinders. I never normally pick such huge touchdown favourites but when in Rome. Clemson -29.5 in a blowout.
Florida (-28) @ Vanderbilt
Kyle Trask is eyeing up that Heisman trophy and will add to his resume here. If Kentucky and Mississippi can put over 35 points on Vandy, I’m sure it’ll be light work for the Gators. Florida -28.
Appalachian State @ Coastal Carolina (-4.5)
I’ll keep saying it and I’ll keep backing it. If you don’t like Coastal Carolina you don’t like College Football. Keep picking the hot hand until it burns you. Coastal Carolina outright.
Central Arkansas @ Louisiana (-24.5)
I honestly don’t get this Louisiana team and this game proves no interest to me in the slightest. Easiest pass of College Football Week 12 by a mile.
North Alabama @ BYU (-47.5)
-47.5, Christ that’s a lot of points. Potentially too many? The total is 57.5 which I can more likely see happening. I’m taking the over in this one but don’t be surprised by a sneaky back door, fourth-quarter cover by North Alabama.
Cincinnati (-5.5) @ UCF
Huge game alert and the toughest pick of the Week 12 slate in my opinion. Big fan of watching both teams but I think The Bearcats defence prevails and manages to sneak the win for the away team. Cincinnati outright.
Wisconsin (-7) @ North Western
Wisconsin -7, NEXT. Easiest College Football Week 12 pick!
Texas (-28) @ Kansas
Kansas fans will be happy of NCAA Basketball later this month. Until then another crushing loss for The Jayhawks. Texas outright but -28 if you’re feeling frisky.
Kansas State @ Iowa State (-10.5)
Two boring teams in my opinion face off in an unnecessary matchup. No offence to Kansas State and Iowa State fans. The total is 48.5 and that in itself is saying something, I’m preparing for a snooze fest around 9 pm GMT. I’ll be taking the under.
Kentucky @ Alabama (-30)
Alabama is another team that turns up every year and with a healthy QB are looking to make moves as we near December. Roll Tide outright and Roll Ride with any spread you can find -28 or under.
Tennessee @ Auburn (-11)
In years past this would be such an interesting game, but as 2020 as it is, this one looks relatively bleak. I’ll back the home favourite nonetheless. Auburn outright.
Mississippi State @ Georgia (-24.5)
I don’t expect Georgia to cover in this one considering the total is only 44. I’ll be taking the over in that one and forgetting about it. Over 44 total points.
Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma (-6.5)
What an interesting game to finish off your Saturday night. As much as I dislike Spencer Rattler, I have got to give him the edge in this one. If The Sooners defence holds out they’ll take this one comfortably. Oklahoma outright.
Liberty @ North Carolina State (-4)
Liberty is lowkey underdogs in this one and I can see them getting the underdog win here with no one paying attention. But my pick is for the total, 67 is the current down and I’ll take the under in this one. These two teams will be too nervous to perform properly.
USC (-3) @ Utah
If you suffer from insomnia or are waiting for USC to cash your parlay ticket then this one’s for you. Even though UTAH hasn’t played yet this season I still go with The Trojans who sneak a victory and continue in November being undefeated. Go Trojans.
