COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 13 – KESHS COLLEGE FUND
Week 12 is complete despite what felt like 100 games being postponed. Keshy6 had his best week this season going 12-3 so it was all cash money topping up the college fund. In his picks last week. Anything above 55% is a good week so let’s get straight into the College Football Week 13 pics.
Happy Thanksgiving Week
P.S College Hoops is back – if you’re interested in making money this holiday season, then go follow my Twitter @Keshy6.
Kesh looks ahead to this week’s College Football Week 13 slate, sprinkling a bit of Vegas in there and giving his predictions on each game from the Top 25.
Please note, all the lines are courtesy of SkyBet at the time of writing. Lines are subject to change.
Iowa State (-1.5) @ Texas
This line has flipped from Texas being the favourite to now Iowa State. Texas had an extra week to prepare for this one and will want to get the win at home. I take the underdog in a supposed Vegas upset. Texas outright.
Notre Dame (-5) @ North Carolina
Big game alert. Friday evening entertainment. This is going to be fun. My head says Notre Dame, my heart says North Carolina but head wins when it comes to winning. Notre Dame outright in a close one.
Oregon (-13.5) @ Oregon State
It’s the battle of Oregon, a nice bit of midnight watching on Friday night after you’ve recovered from the Irish/UNC game. The Ducks claim the State and prevail victors.
Ohio State (-28) @ Illinois
The Buckeyes couldn’t cover last week and with the first College Football playoff ranking announced, they know they are going to have to perform to make it into the postseason with so many good teams around them this year. Ohio State -28.
Kentucky @ Florida (-21)
So Kentucky lost 63-3 to Alabama and you don’t think the Gators will look to make amends for their poor show last week. Sorry, Kentucky, basketball season is back, you’ll want to look away from this one. Florida -21.
Maryland @ Indiana (-11)
This is a sneaky good matchup. Indiana has been balling this year and Maryland has a Tagovailoa. Both teams can score hence why the total is so high but I think the Hoosiers defence gets a vital stop to claim the victory. Indiana on the money line.
Texas Tech @ Oklahoma State (-11)
Both teams lost last week which is why the line is so low and has pulled down the total for this one. Total is 52 currently so I’ll take the over as this one could flop either way.
Tulsa @ Houston
Postponed
Minnesota @ Wisconsin
Postponed
Coastal Carolina (-16) @ Texas State
You know what I’m going to say, for like the 5th week running if you don’t like Coastal Carolina you don’t like College Football. What a Cinderella story this is turning out to be and who doesn’t love Cinderella? I’ll keep saying it until it fails me. Coastal Carolina outright.
Louisiana (-28) @ Louisiana-Monroe
Pass. One because it’ll take me until after thanksgiving to write out these two team names again and two, because why not? I expect a yawn fest.
Auburn @ Alabama (-24)
It’s the Iron Bowl. One of the best rivalries in College sport. I wish I could just sit back and enjoy this one but there’s money to be made. I’m leaning towards both Alabama and the Over 61.5 points total. Check my Twitter closer to gameday to see which way I favour.
Pittsburgh @ Clemson (-23)
The line is dropping in favour of Pittsburgh. Why do you ask, I do not have a clue? Nonetheless, the return of Trevor Lawrence is here and seeing as I missed him so much last week, I’m going to be doubling down on The Tigers this. Sorry, Pittsburgh. Clemson -23.
Northwestern (-13) @ Michigan State
Northwestern surprised me with the win last week and the whole of Michigan is a mess right now. Just be wary of this line moving any higher, I’ll take Northwestern outright but will watch for the line to drop to -10, if it does, hammer hammer hammer.
Colorado @ USC (-11.5)
The Trojans are undefeated and will always hold a special place in my heart. I know head wins over heart, but my heart is picking USC and I can’t pick USC in this one.
Cincinnati (-35) @ Temple
This line is just about perfect for me to have to put some real thought into this. Is 35 points a bit too much, potentially on this occasion? I’ll back the underdog with the backdoor cover. Temple +35.
LSU @ Texas A&M (-14)
The Aggies haven’t played in what feels like forever so they could either be fresh as a fiddle or rusty hence I’m a little confused which way to go. LSU won a close one last week so I’ll wait until game day to see what the injuries status of some players are and which way the rest of Vegas is leaning.
Georgia (-21) @ South Carolina
JT Daniels got his first start for the Bulldogs and what an impressive start it was. I think he’ll want to prove why he’s worth the starting role and South Carolina will have to deal with it. Georgia -21.
Oklahoma (-11) @ West Virginia
Did you see what Oklahoma did to Okie State last week? Easiest pick of the week. Oklahoma -11.
