Dynasty Waiver Wire – Week 14

Wow, week 14 and Playoffs are here for many! It’s hard to imagine any players on waivers you’d feel comfortable adding at this point but there’s a few that could have some significance (ownership percentages are from Sleeper):

Shallower Leagues

JaMycal Hasty – RB – SanFrancisco – 37%

Elijah Mitchell popped up on the injury report after Sunday with a concussion. This traditionally means at least a one-week absence. So suddenly the 49ers backfield is back up for grabs. Jeff Wilson is worth consideration but Hasty seems to be a preferred option particularly in the passing game.

Ricky Seals-Jones – TE – Washington Football Team – 41%

Whilst Logan Thomas was missing time with the Hamstring injury Seals-Jones had a couple of relevant performances. Whilst Logan Thomas’s injury wasn’t as bad as first feared he is still likely to miss a couple of weeks. This could open the door for Seals-Jones. When you add in the fact that Washington TE’s have the easiest playoff schedule in terms of adjusted points allowed he could be a sneaky playoff flyer.

Deeper Leagues

Zay Jones – WR – Las Vegas Raiders – 32%

The Las Vegas situation has turned into a bit of a horror show after a promising start. Hunter Renfrow has emerged as a really solid option. However, Zay Jones has also flashed some potential. On top of that, his peripheral numbers are starting to flash. This week alone Zay Jones participated on 88% of routes, saw a 13.9% target share and 95 Air yards. He is always going to be a bit of a boom-bust but as a flex flyer, you could do a lot worst.

Jake Fromm – QB – New York Giants – 6%

I’m certainly not excited about this but Fromm will be starting in week 14 for the Giants. That means he should be rostered in all Superflex dynasty leagues. He doesn’t get you excited with a weaker arm but if he can distribute the ball to the potential playmakers in New York he could provide some value.

Peyton Barber – RB – Las Vegas Raiders – 15%

Kenyan Drake broke his ankle on Sunday and is done for the year. It appears that Josh Jacobs may finally be seeing the potential of a full workload. However, I wouldn’t be shocked if Peyton Barber carved out a role. I wouldn’t add him unless you had a free roster spot but he would now be one injury away from a full-time workload.

Best of luck for week 14. I’ll be back on Friday with my Dynasty Buys and Sells. You can follow me @DynastyIsland and the rest of the team @5YardDynasty
