Fantasy Football Stash Targets In Week 9
Under The Radar
This week on under the radar it’s all about Fantasy Football Stash Targets In Week 9 to keep an eye on for the future.
Tajae Sharpe – WR – Atlanta Falcons
The Atlanta Falcons and Matt Ryan are down on offensive players after trading away Julio Jones and now the news breaking about Ridley makes things even more tricky.
Because of this, it does make Sharpe one of my fantasy football stash targets in week 9. Ryan has to throw the ball to someone and it can’t all fall on Pitts and Patterson.
Now that Ridley is taking some time out, this offence needs pass catchers to step up. Last week the Falcons struggled against the Carolina defence.
Even on a bad day, Sharpe stepped up and had the same amount of targets as Pitts did. Sharpe managed to pull in 5 out of the 6 targets for 58 yards getting an average of 11.6 per completion.
On top of that, Sharpe has only dropped 3 catches this season from 18 targets. Sharpe hasn’t scored a TD yet but with the potential to have a bigger role whilst Ridley is out, the chance for extra targets grows which in turn creates more opportunities to score.
The opportunity of an increased target share definitely helps Sharpe become a player to grab and have as one of your fantasy football stash targets.
Quez Watkins – WR – Philadelphia Eagles
Just like Sharpe, Watkins has an opportunity to increase his snap count with the possibility that Reagor is out with an ankle injury.
Because of this, it does make Watkins one of my fantasy football stash targets in week 9.
For the first 4 weeks of the season, Watkins was finding his feet and trying to get used to the NFL. This also meant that his snap % was quite low.
The past 4 games, however, have seen Watkins increase his Snap count. Now that there is a possibility that Reagor could be out this week too, the Eagles could create a perfect opportunity for Watkins and not just rely on Goedert and the running game.
Again just like Sharpe, the opportunity of an increased target share definitely helps Watkins become a player to grab and have as one of your fantasy football stash targets.
That’s it Rush Nation, two more Fantasy Football Stash Targets In Week 9 for you to keep an eye on. Make sure you look out for my future and previous articles for this series.
Until then, Keep Rushing!
