I Streamed a Stream Weeks 12+13

Rush Nation, I am back with another I Streamed a Stream article. This week was the best of the season so far. Only Hollister let me down this week. However, all the other positions I saw a huge boost or stayed where I was. Darnold was a top 3 QB this week, and Williams was a top 6 RB in PPR. Also Slayton and Samuel did reasonably well. So all in all, I’m in good shape for the most part with 4 weeks to go.

This week I am hoping to get similar results. I am only 10 points behind the QB2 overall. I am also very close to the K2. However, I feel I am at my ceiling in terms of D/ST for the season, as the top 3 have seemed to get away. They will be too difficult to close down with just 4 games to go.

Due to Marlon Mack’s injury, the Running Back position has a chance of being somewhat successful. Williams was a massive result last week and I hope to ride him again into another RB1 performance. However, Wide Receiver is the hardest position to succeed right now.

However, I still have a QB1, a TE1, a K1, and a D/ST1. For those of you who aren’t familiar, I am comparing this to the standard 12 team league and I am looking to achieve a number 1 ranked player in each position. At this point I am only 17 points off the second best Kicker overall in Fantasy Football. I also am in decent position for QB, TE and D/ST finishes.

REVIEW

As it currently stands, I currently rank:

QB:  4th Overall- Up 2
RB:  33rd Overall- Up 7
WR:  36th Overall- Up 1
TE:  10th Overall- No Gain
K:  7th Overall- Up 1
D/ST:  45th Overall- Up 1

Remember, I am only using using players who are under 30% owned from when I look at the players for our Waiver Wire article on Monday.

I am not confident I will end up with a top 12 Running Back or Wide Receiver. However, if I can stream into the RB2, WR2 conversation, I will be happy.

Darnold was my best performance, finishing as the QB3 on the week. Williams also ended as the RB6 and Koo was the K5.

All in all, I just need to keep having big weeks. But I feel I might struggle to get a RB2 and WR2.

WEEK 13 PICKS

This week, I am looking to consolidate on last week. Wide Receiver seems to be the biggest challenge this week. If you want to play along with me, go back to the Waiver Wire article we published on Monday.

I am also challenging any of you to a duel. Have a look at the ownership numbers on ESPN.co.uk and if you find better selections that are under 30% owned, then submit your picks and we will create a tab on the website. Trust me, it is not as easy as it looks. Not that I am making this look easy.

My stream selections for this week are as follows:

QB:    Ryan Tannehill- TEN

RB:    Jonathan Williams- IND

WR:   James Washington- PIT

TE:    Ryan Griffin- NYJ

K:     Dan Bailey- MIN

D/ST: NY Jets

There isn’t a great deal on the Waiver Wire. I have gone for Jonathan Williams after two great performances in a row. Tannehill has been stellar for the last three games and Griffin has been getting Touchdowns.

As per yesterday’s Waiver Wire column, I am banking on Washington to get a few more catches and yards. I also believe he gets into the end zone this week.

Please go back and read the previous columns, and track the progress with me. It’s been fun so far. However, I know that it will get harder week to week, until we get to the last couple of weeks of the season. Please do also interact with us via the site or via twitter.

Please reach out to me on twitter @5yardrush. But until another look at the stream Rush Nation, Keep Rushing.
