IDP Streamers IDP Streamers Week 13

IDP Streaming Options – WEEK 6 bargains

Hello Rush Nation, allow me to be the first to welcome you to my Individual Defensive Player (IDP) arcadia. My name is Mason, and in my few years as a proud IDP player, I have come to “see the light” that is the beauty of defensive fantasy football. Now I enjoy the idea of both sides of the football becoming fantasy relevant (Imagine hollering at the idiot box twice as much, what fun!). However, I and others I know always seem to come across the same problem of not having a trusted source for IDP streamers on a week to week basis. So I’ve taken my pain into my own hands to create a solution for everyone. Only one rule applies: each player discussed will be rostered by no more than sixteen per cent of fantasy managers. (via Yahoo)

Have you ever lost a fantasy game by a small margin, and while gazing upon your tragedy of a losing club, you see two of your defensive players have less than three points. Well, for the less than five percent of the fantasy community that partakes in IDP, that is why I am here, to ultimately help you set the winning line up every week in hopes of avoiding yet another loss due to your defensive player’s lack of production. So without further adieu, humans, we are off!

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN

Dalvin Tomlinson- New York Giants-1% Rostered- VS WAS

Tomlinson, thus far in 2020, has been an underrated fantasy interior player. Consistency is a critical factor for Tomlinson as he has had five or more tackles in all but one game this year. The matchup is desirable as the Giants are playing at home against a struggling Washington offensive line, not to mention the man is on a three-game tackle for loss streak.

Kerry Hyder- San Francisco 49ers- 8% Rostered- VS LAR

In an injury-plagued season for San Francisco, Hyder has been one of the few bright lights on the underperforming defense. He has a sack/ sack assist in every contest but one, as well as only one game without a tackle for loss. Hyder has seen an increase in playing time and has taken full advantage, and so should you.

LINEBACKERS

Bobby Okereke- Indianapolis Colts- 3% Rostered- VS CIN

When defensive superstar Darius Leonard was sidelined in week five due to a groin injury, Okereke did more than his part, stepping up in a significant way. (10 combined tackles, one interception, and one pass deflection) With Leonard’s status up in the air for week 6, I love his matchup against the young Bengals.

Montez Sweat- Washington Football Team- 8% Rostered- VS NYG

Upon analysis of Sweat’s defensive stats this year, it would appear as if he is showing out every other game, and he did work last match. However, this matchup against the Giants of New York has feast written on the walls as Daniel Jones is sacked 3.2 times per game on average.

DEFENSIVE BACKS

Rodney McLeod- Philadelphia Eagles- 2% Rostered- VS BAL

This man is about that action and seems to always be in the camera frame on gameday. McLeod has more than four combined tackles in every contest this year, and either is just below projection or blows it out of the water.

Brian Poole- New York Jets- 12% Rostered- VS MIA

Poole is one of my personal favourites this year as he has exceeded projections by a significant amount all year. He has not had a less than three tackle game, and that Jets defense is usually on the field, so the opportunity is there against a hot Miami offense.

ROOKIE WATCH

Derrick Brown – Carolina Panthers – 1% Rostered- VS CHI

Averaging 60.2% of snaps on gameday, Brown could be a sneaky play this week against a middle of the road Bears offensive line. Brown has shown he can be a disruptor in the backfield with five tackles for loss on the year. Look for Brown to make some noise in the backfield this weekend.

Willie Gay jr.- Kansas City Chiefs- 1% Rostered- VS BUF

Coming off of his personal best professional game (five combined tackles, one for loss, and his first sack), Willie has to be considered an up and coming streaming option as his snap count has improved drastically over the five weeks. In week one, he was on zero defensive snaps, and in week 5, he was on 47%. Roster him while you still can.

That is all I have for this week; thank you for reading. My line is always open if you have any questions or wish to discuss other streaming options. Good luck and happy streaming Rush Nation!
