College Betting Picks Game Week Two

Kesh’s College Fund: CFB Week 7 – Money Time

Week 6 is in the books, there were some crushing last-minute losses across the board and Kesh @Keshy6 went 5-5 in his picks last week and looks to get back to winning ways in Week 7. Anything above 55% is a good week so let’s get straight into it and win some money hopefully.

Kesh looks ahead to this week’s college football slate, sprinkling a bit of Vegas in there and giving his predictions on each game from the Top 25.

Please note, all the lines are courtesy of SkyBet at the time of writing. Lines are subject to change.

Coastal Carolina @ Louisiana (-7.5)

This was a game I had down to play last week but with Covid lingering scheduling is going to be a nightmare. Still going with the same pick, Louisiana money line.

SMU (-6.5) @ Tulane

SMU is slowly creeping up the rankings and are putting up points like they’re running out. Went against SMU previously and was rightly questioned on Twitter (@Keshy6 to join in the fun) so will be backing the Mustangs in this one. Win. Cover. Done.

BYU (-4.5) @ Houston

Give me a field goal point difference and I’d have bitten your hand off. -4.5 might be too much but I’ll risk it anyway. Houston was involved in a wild one last week and even though they will be fresher considering its only game 2 for them I’ll still take BYU plus the points.

Clemson (-27.5) @ Georgia Tech

Four touchdown favourites against Georgia Tech – this is a tough ask in my opinion. Clemson will win but I think Georgia Tech will keep it within 27 points.

Tulsa @ Cincinnati (-3)

Cincinnati is undefeated and will remain that way when they host Tulsa. I’m very surprised at the low spread and will take that all day. Cincinnati wins by 4 or more.

Pitt @ Miami (-10.5)

I really don’t understand how Vegas got Miami a 2 score favourite in this game considering last week’s results. Nonetheless, the total is 46.5 and that is what I’ll be taking in this game. Both teams will be looking to score and can move the ball easily to counter their leaky defences. Over 46.5 could be covered by half time.

Auburn (-3) @ South Carolina

I am loving the low spread totals this week. Close matchups means less room for error but bigger potential for winning. Trust in Bo Nix. Auburn wins this close affair and covers the spread.

Kentucky @ Tennessee (-6)

Tennessee got blasted by Georgia last week but Kentucky, despite winning Mississippi State last week, won’t be the same opponent. The Vols get back to winning ways – take the money line but the handicap will bring in more money if you’re feeling it.

Louisville @ Notre Dame (-16.5)

Louisville turned the ball over like they didn’t want it last week. This Notre Dame defence is nasty and will be looking to replicate that this weekend. The Irish to win, and likewise, with the Tennessee pick, get them on the money line but spread if you’re feeling spicy.

LSU @ Florida

LSU Champions no more. I predicted at the beginning of the season they’ll struggle this year with so many of their championship-winning team being drafted into the NFL. Current lines are unavailable and practices have been suspended due to a Covid outbreak. Check back via Twitter on gameday for updates on selections.

Texas A&M (-6.5) @ Mississippi State

Both Mississippi State & A&M are not the teams I expected them to be at this point in the season. I’d have taken The Bulldogs -6.5 a few weeks back but the LSU win doesn’t seem as impressive now. Aggies all day, win outright.

North Carolina (-13.5) @ Florida State

This line is moving. Money is coming in on UNC thick and fast and will only continue to go that way. UNC money line is what I’ll be playing because this could keep swinging and could eventually be too much. Will be a decent game to keep an eye on though.

Boston College @ Virginia Tech (-11.5)

These two teams love to score points. This will be a close one and I’m not sure which way to lean. The total is 60.5 but that might be a score too much, so I’m tempted by the under.

Georgia @ Alabama (-6.5)

Georgia v Alabama in a top 3 battle seems to be a recurring theme over the past few years. Two of the best SEC teams face it off during a primetime slot. Alabama being only a touchdown favourite under Nick Saban? Give me that ALL DAY!

Keshy’s Pick 6:

– Alabama -6.5
– SMU -6.5
– BYU – 4.5
– Cincinnati -3
– Texas A&M – 6.5
– Tennessee -6
