I think Halloween came a week too early, week 9 was horrifying, both fantasy and NFL results were very surprising, so I applaud you for coming back for more.

NFL Starts and Sits Week 10 Quarterbacks

My top-ranked Quarterbacks for Week 10 are:

1. Allen @ NYJ
2. Jackson @ MIA
3. Prescott @ ATL
4. Brady @ WAS
5. Stafford @ SF

Start QB 1- Derek Carr vs KC

Carr has been very impressive on home turf and if the Chiefs wake up, which I fully expect them to at some point, this could be a shootout. That coupled with the Chiefs defence giving up a very generous 22.66 fantasy point to opposing quarterbacks, I feel Carr is set for a top 12 finish here.

Start QB 2- Carson Wentz vs JAX

The over/under here is 47.5 and the matchup favours Wentz to score well, he has impressed in all but one game back in week 3 against the Titans. Including the 1 blip, he is still averaging 22 fantasy points, fire him up in week 10.

Sit QB 1- Teddy Bridgewater vs PHI

Off the back of a fantastic and unexpected win @ DAL, I fancy Bridgewater to struggle in week 10. It would just be consistent with Bridgwater’s production this year to have a hiccup here. The Eagle defence is underrated in my opinion and I think they make it hard for the Broncos passing game.

Sit QB 2- Kirk Cousins @ LAC

On the road here, it makes sense for the Vikings to grind out as much clock as possible. Against a soft Chargers run defence the Vikings will use Cook as much as possible, I feel this will hinder Cousins fantasy production. I fancy him to reach high teens in scoring, there are better streaming options available.

NFL Starts and Sits Week 10 Running Backs

My top-ranked Running Backs for Week 10 are:

Start RB 1- James Conner vs CAR

Conner had ‘a day’ last week with Edmonds leaving the game, Edmonds is still not practising. Despite the matchup against a strong Carolina defence, Conner should do well here. The line is 44.5 with Arizona giving up 10.5 so you can expect the Cardinals to lead and lean on Connor, another top 10 performance is on the cards.

Start RB 2- Josh Jacobs vs KC

Jacobs is being used as a key part of the Raiders offence and with just one blip on his 2021 fantasy season, you can rely on him to succeed in week 10. At home and against the Chiefs, Jacobs should feast.

Start RB 3- Devonta Freeman @ MIA

I have Freeman as a decent flex option with upside, the Miami defence is a good matchup for him. He is being used in both the rush and the passing downs. This should be a one-sided affair and therefore the game script should benefit Freeman, he has a chance to score.

Sit RB 1- Antonio Gibson vs TB

Gibson has been dealing with an injury in recent weeks so a bye in week 9 was very timely. He has been limited in practice this week and without knowing his usage, if any this week, I’d look for a replacement until you see it on the field. The matchup is dreadful too so I don’t imagine they will rush him back if he isn’t 100%.

Sit RB 2- Mike Davis vs DAL

Cowboys run defence took a pounding in week 9 against the Broncos but in general, it’s been pretty solid. Now we can credit some of that to Dallas getting out too early leads and teams having to pass to keep up. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn faces his former team and will want to right the wrongs from last week. Expect to see plenty of Patterson and not so much Davis, he just isn’t getting it done.

Sit RB 3- AJ Dillon vs SEA

The Packers run game meets a decent matchup in week 10, the Seahawks are ranked as the 3rd worst against the run, giving up 26.16 to opposing running backs. I believe in Dillon and would go as far as to say he is a better talent than Jones, but we cannot trust he gets the usage at this moment in time.

NFL Start and Sits Week 10 Wide Receivers

My top-ranked Wide Receivers for Week 10 are:

1. Adams vs SEA
2. Kupp @ SF
3. Hill @ LV
4. Godwin @ WAS
5. Diggs @ NYJ

Start WR 1- Jerry Jeudy vs PHI

With Juedy coming back into the lineup, I feel comfortable that he will be the go-to guy from here on out. The Eagles have been solid against the pass so far, only giving up 23 fantasy points to wide receiver’s groups weekly. I trust the targets and the talent, Juedy should be a wide receiver two here.

Start WR 2- Hunter Renfrow vs KC

Renfrow is becoming more than just a hopeful flex option, I have used him in DFS lineups regularly in recent weeks. I expect his production to continue in week 10. The Raiders play well at home and I like Renfrow to score a touchdown here, expect something in the region of 6 catches, 50 yards and a touchdown.

Start WR 3- DeVonta Smith @ DEN

I enjoyed watching Smith have a career day in week 9, my fingers are crossed this usage continues. The Broncos rolled the Cowboys last week, but I fancy the Eagles here and I think Smith can have back to back fantasy weeks.

Sit WR 1- Elijah Moore vs BUF

I originally had DJ Moore in this slot and my draft note simply read, Darnold! So, a late edit and the news of Cam Newton going back to Carolina means I had to switch Moore’s. Elijah had a breakout game against the Colts with seven receptions, 84 yards and two scores. I don’t see this happening here against a Bill defence that is allowing the fewest fantasy points to receivers. Sit him and be patient.

Sit WR 2- Allen Robinson @ PIT

Last week I said, “unless there is change and we see it, you can sit Allen and he may even be a drop candidate.” Well, we saw it and it looked good. I need to see more before I believe the Bears and Fields can get the most out of Robinson’s potential. Sit for another week.

Sit WR 3 – Carl Beasley @ NYJ

Like the Chiefs, have the Bills been worked out? The leagues two gunslinging QB’s Mahomes and Allen were held in week 9. Bills should run, run and run some more here, but they have shown that they just love to pass. Against the league’s worst run defence the Bills should lean on their run game, and this will limit Beasley production.

NFL Start and Sits Week 10 Tight Ends

My top-ranked Tight Ends for Week 10 are:

2. Waller vs KC
3. Kittle vs LAR
4. Gesicki vs BAL
5. Pitts @ DAL

Start TE 1- Dallas Goedert @ DEN

The Eagles 2nd round, 2018 draft pick had a quieter week against the Chargers in week 9 after 2 solid performances where he scored a combined 20 fantasy points. I expect him to bounce back here against the Broncos, I have him for 12 fantasy points in full PPR formats.

Start TE 2- Logan Thomas vs TB

Thomas could return in week 10, if he is ready to go, I’ll be throwing him in lineups. The matchup is good, and he will be used if fit, fingers crossed.

Sit TE 1- Hunter Henry vs CLE

With Henry’s matchup not being great we are just hoping for a touchdown, sit him in week 10.

Sit TE 2- Zach Ertz vs CAR

Carolina has proven to be a problem for tight ends, only giving up 8 fantasy points to the position, sit Ertz and wait for Murray to return to 100% health.
