And just like that, the President’s Trophy regular season is in the bag. We’ve had 12 weeks of crazy back and forth matchups and all the regular-season points have now been awarded for each team. Before we can move onto the playoffs we need to finalise the standings.

Week 12 – The Captains

Team ‘Captain America’ (The FTLS Boys) finished the regular season against Team Europe’s ‘Benedict Arnold’ (Gary Haddow). After a questionable start to the season, Captain America finished with a bang and got one final win and point for team USA. They finish the season on 7-5 and make it through to the playoffs. BA will have to now battle to not lose any points as they head to the consolation bracket, finishing the season on 4-8

Before the final game, Europe’s captain ‘Team 5 Yard Rush’ (Stocks and Murf) were clinging on to one of the final playoff spots. They took on a playoff-bound ‘Mericaaaaaa F*** YEAAA’ (DrakePFSA) to try to keep that last spot. MFY took the win for team USA and moved them onto 8-4 for the season. The loss for 5YardRush takes them to 5-7 for the season but sneak into the playoffs due to other results.

Week 12 – Team Member Matchups

USA’s ‘We Selected Scut Farkus’ (Shacknado – Brian) started the weekend 4-7 and on the outskirts of the playoffs. Unfortunately for them, that’s where they stay as they were defeated by Europe’s ‘AVFCJPS (James). AVFCJPS finish the season with a .500 record of 6-6 and find themselves in the playoffs.

Europe’s ‘Roaring Poulter’ (PittsyNFL) had a fantastic start to the season but the pressure got too much and eventually finished the season on 6-6. USA’s ‘Mr America’ (Kevin Tompkins) gave them another loss to make it a clean sweep over Poulter this season. The win for Mr America moves them to 8-4 for the season and into the playoffs. Poulter scrapes by and gets a playoff spot too.

USA’s ‘JSnakeDFF (Jacob) confirmed a playoff spot in week 11. Their final regular-season game was against Europe’s ‘JoshPattenden7’. This game went down to the wire and we needed to wait for the Steelers-Ravens game before we had a winner. JSnake’s team had all played and so left a target of 25 points needed for Josh to get the win. Eventually, Josh bagged an important win for Europe winning a close one, 148-145.

The final game was between Europe’s ‘Marvellous McIlroy’ (Freddie ‘the franchise tag’ Hall) and USA’s’GoingFor2DotCom’ (Geoff). Mcllroy was the only European player confirmed in the playoffs before week 12 but made sure about that by getting the win over GF2DCom. That win takes Mcllroy to 8-4 for the season as GF2DCOM finish on 5-7 and just miss out on a playoff spot.

This week saw a 3-3 split in games and so takes the regular-season scores to
Europe 33 – USA 39

The USA take a 6 point lead into the playoffs but find a 50/50 split after a late surge gave Europe a last gasp playoff spot.

5-7 Team 5 Yard Rush.

The playoff teams for Team USA are –
8-4 Mr America
8-4 Mericaaaaa F YEAA
7-5 Captain America
7-5 JSnakeDFF

Team USA’s 5-7 GoingFor2DotCom and 4-8 We Elected Scut Farkus.
Team Europe’s 4-8 JoshPattenden and 4-8 Benedict Arnold
