Just like that the fantasy season is through and The Presidents Trophy, the big podcast fantasy battle between Team Europe and Team USA has its conclusion. The week 16 points have been added to the week 15 matchup and we now have a our two winners. The fantasy season Champion and the podcast Champion. Here’s how it all ended.

The Final

Europe’s ‘Team 5 Yard Rush’ (Stocks and Murf) went into the final week 153-120 up against USA’s ‘Mericaaaaaa F*** YEAAA’ (DrakePFSA). This game went down to the wire but eventually MFY pulled off a great comeback to become the first ever Presidents Trophy Champion. They won with a score of 332-323 to gain Maximum points for USA. The Runners up had a fantastic run from sneaking into the playoffs with a 5-7 record to almost snatching the Championship.

3rd place Playoff

‘Captain America’ (The FTLS Boys) went head to head with Europe’s ‘AVFCJPS (James) for 3rd place. At half time, Team USA were leading 216-175. After being in the driver’s seat for 3rd they never let go of the lead, eventually taking the win 389-261

5th place Playoff

For 5th, we have USA’s ‘JSnakeDFF (Jacob) and Europes ‘Marvellous McIlroy’ (Freddie ‘the franchise tag’ Hall) going head to head. The half way mark saw only 13 points in the game as JSnake had the lead 173-160. That lead wasn’t enough as Mcllroy pulled it back to take the win and 5th place with a score of 341-308.

7th place Playoff

The 7th place playoff saw USA’s ‘Mr America’ (Kevin Tompkins) and Europe’s ‘Roaring Poulter’ (PittsyNFL) face each other. Half way through this matchup, Roaring Poulter had a slim lead, winning 153-146. The final score was even closer, finishing 312.94-311.92 to Poulter handing them the 7th spot.

Final standings and points

As 9th to 12th had already finished last week we can go straight into the final positions and award the final bonus points to crown the winner of the Podcast battle.
