Week 4 review.

The Jazz Purists and Taco Corp keep the winning streak alive as NorthWealdPats and Pats20Chad keep losing.

The first game was pretty much a case of top v bottom and the outcome Once again for Dave (The Jazz Purists) was positive. They move to 4-0 for the season whilst destroying most hope for Rich (Pats20Chad) getting near the playoffs for a chance at the championship as they now fall to 0-4.

The battle for the bottom needed a Monday night game to sort it out as Pittsy (Pitts Burk Stinkers) managed to get their first win of the season and gives them a tiny slice of hope that all is not lost. They got a win against fellow strugglers Jamie (NorthWealdPats). This was billed to be a low scoring game but the Stinkers did enough to go 1-3 and move up to 9th as NorthWealdPats drop to last on 0-4.

Dermy (Taco Corp) started the weekend in 2nd at 3-0 for the season and stay 2nd but go 4-0. Taco Corp seems to have a magic touch as every week scoring against them is one of the lowest. Tyler (Long Live ’76) scored the 3rd lowest of the gameweek sending them to 2-2 and dropping them to 7th overall.

Having the opposite issue, Shaun (Team Spedding) have had a hard run-in with the 2nd highest points scored against them. This week Ethan (ETurnerFF) made sure to carry on that trend scoring the 3rd highest score of the gameweek. With the win, ETurnerFF goes to 3-1 and 5th as Spedding drops to 1-3 and 8th.

Martin (Lucky Fantasy Guy) started the season highest scorer and 2-0. After losing in week three they went up against a strong 2-1 Jacob (Team JBarner). Lucky Fantasy Guy pulled out another big score to go 3-1 and 3rd. JBarner moves to 6th on 2-2.

The high of their first win in week 3 was short-lived for Stocks & Murf (The 5 Yard Rush Podcast). Their team looked to have a hangover as they took on Matt (Brady-o-GaGa). Brady-o-GaGa had been the 3rd highest scorers in the league but it didn’t matter this week as the 5 Yard Rush team scored the lowest points of the gameweek. Brady-o-GaGa now go to 3-1 and 4th overall as the 5 Yard Rush boys drop to 1-3 and 10th.
