Week 5 review.
2 teams stand alone. 1 undefeated. 1 winless.
In week 5 Dermy (Taco Corp) took the next step and moved away from the rest of the league and is now the only team undefeated. They move to 5-0 after a win against Matt (Brady-o-GaGa) who now sits in 6th on 3-2.
Dave (The Jazz Purists) took a big L this week. They scored a massive 195 points but faced Ethan (ETurnerFF) who handed the Jazz Purists their first loss of the season with a huge 230 points. The JPs drop to 3rd on 4-1 whilst ETurnerFF also moves to 4-1 and up to 4th.
We have a new team at the bottom and they are now all alone on 0-5. Rich (Pats20Chad) extended the winless streak to 5 after losing to Shaun (Team Spedding). Spedding get their second win of the season and move to 2-3 in 7th overall!
Jamie (NorthWealdPats) has broken his duck and gets his first win of the season dragging themselves off bottom spot to 11th on 1-4. They got their first win against Jacob (Team JBarner) who now sits in 8th on 2-3.
Martin (Lucky Fantasy Guy) reaches 1000 total points scored for the season with a massive win against a struggling Pittsy (Pitts Burk Stinkers). They managed to get over 100 points more that the Stinkers setting them up in 2nd on 4-1. LFG has Scored almost 300 points more than the Stinkers.
The final Matchup of week 5 was Tyler (Long Live ’76) going up against Stocks & Murf (The 5 Yard Rush Podcast). After suggesting that this game had the potential to be a low scoring game as both teams are in the bottom for scoring points. It turned out to be a good match and only 3 teams scored higher than both these teams. LL’76 got the win in the end and go 3-2 for the season and go 5th. The 5 Yard Rush Boys find themselves struggling in 9th now at 1-4.
