Waiver Wire week 5

Waiver Wire Week 13 2022

Another Thanksgiving has come and past and so has Week 12 in the NFL. The Thursday slate of games were just what the week needed. Three great games to watch with family and good food. As we move into Week 13 and closer to playoff spots, we see that we have two teams on bye for this week. However, it’s not time to get comfortable, we have Week 14 to manage. That will have six byes in it, and a very thin waiver wire. The teams on bye for Week 13 are Arizona and Carolina.

Remember, this article contains players rostered in 30% or less in total leagues. Ownership data is coming from ESPN.com Fantasy Football.

Jared Goff (DET) 29.2% VS. JAX

Jared Goff completed 23 of 37 pass attempts for 240 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the day with 17.6 FPTS. Next week the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Detroit to face the Lions. The Jaguars are giving up 18.74 FPTS to the quarterback position.

Mike White (NYJ) 2.5% @ MIN

Mike White got the call to step in for Zach Wilson and boy, did he answer! White completed 22 of 28 pass attempts for 315 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed three times for two yards and finished the day with 24.8 FPTS and a big win over the Chicago Bears. The Jets will travel to Minnisota to play the Vikings next week. The Vikings are giving up 19.06 FPTS to the quarterback position.

JaMycal Hasty (JAX) 0.8% @ DET

JaMycal Hasty had 12 rushes for 28 yards and five receptions for 67 yards and one touchdown for 20.5 FPTS. Travis Etienne left the game early with a foot injury and Hasty finished the day for the Jaguars. It’s unclear what Etienne’s status will be for next week but this would be one that I would be watching. The Jaguars will be in Detroit next week to play the Lions. The Lions are giving up 19.01 FPTS to the running back position.

Kyren Williams (LAR) 18.6% VS SEA

Kyren Williams had 11 rushes for 35 yards and three receptions for 25 yards. He completed the day with 9.0 FPTS. With the Rams letting Darrell Henderson go, look for Williams’ role to increase. The Rams will face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday in Los Angeles. The Seahawks are giving up 22.62 FPTS to the running back position.

Isaiah McKenzie (BUF) 16.5% @ NE

Isaiah McKenzie was targeted 10 times for six receptions and 96 yards with one touchdown. He also rushed two times for seven yards. He finished the day with 22.3 FPTS. Richie James (NYG) 0.5% VS WSH

Richie James was targeted six times for five receptions and 41 yards with one touchdown. He completed the day with 15.1 FPTS. With WanDale Robinson out for the season, we should continue to see James’ role continue to grow. Next week the Giants will face NFC East rivals , Washington Commanders in New York. The Commanders are giving up 21.68 FPTS to the wide receiver position.

Austin Hooper (TEN) 9.8% @ PHI

Austin Hooper was targeted four times for three receptions, finishing the day with 6.0 FPTS. Week 13 has the Titans traveling to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. The Eagles are giving up 5.35 FPTS to the tight end position.
